Uniqlo has announced the opening date for its new store in Werribee.
The new site, at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre, will open on July 28 and comes as part of the centre’s $400 million redevelopment.
The store will cover a sales area of 995 square metres and is expected to create more than 60 jobs for local residents.
It will offer customers a full line-up of apparel for men, women, kids and babies.
Uniqlo Australia chief Shochi Miyasaka believes the new store will make the brand more accessible to Victorians.
“Our growth strategy across Victoria has been a key focus and priority for our business since we opened our first store in Melbourne in 2014.
"Victorian shoppers have shown an extremely positive response to Uniqlo so far, and we are passionate about making our products more accessible to shoppers across the state.
“We are proud to be opening our fourth store in Victoria at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre, allowing shoppers in the western region of Melbourne to experience the brand closer to home."
The new store is Uniqlo's fourth offering in Victoria and its 12th nationwide.
