Global apparel retailer Uniqlo is gearing up to open its latest store in Queensland, at Sunshine Plaza.
The store will host a grand opening on October 15, featuring a Japanese drumming performance and a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. The retailer will also offer exclusive opening promotions on the day, alongside giveaways and in-store activations. There will also be special UT T-shirt designs exclusively available at the Sunshine Plaza store, featuring a Sunshine Coast local artist.
The Sunshine Coast opening marks the next chapter for Uniqulo in Queensland, with the brand also relocating its original Brisbane flagship at Queen Street Mall to a significantly larger site within the precinct later this year.
“We’re thrilled to open the doors to our new Sunshine Plaza store across an incredible 777 square meters and the first store in the Sunshine Coast area,” Uniqlo Australia COO Satoshi Naito said.
“This store represents the evolution of Uniqlo in Australia, offering not only our full range of LifeWear essentials, but also a dynamic and interactive shopping experience that reflects our Japanese roots and global vision.”
Uniqlo’s new store at Sunshine Plaza will offer a wide range of its ‘LifeWear’ ranges for men, women, kids and babies.
