Uniqlo Australia is set to bring French styling to its Emporium, Chadstone and Mid City stores, when it launches its latest collaboration with French designer Ines de la Fressange.

The new collection reflects Fressange's desire to bring "effortless French style" to the world and is inspired by the Swiss village of Rossinière where she spends her Christmas holidays.

"A comfortable wardrobe with a hint of nostalgia is ideally suited to a relaxing holiday in such bountiful nature," Uniqlo Australia said in a statement.

"This season’s collection once more delivers the sophisticated and relaxed stylings characteristic of Ines," the brand said.

The collection offers the wearer 'cosy' winter options including cashmere blend knit ponchos, Fressange's signature masculine jackets, ensemble knits, 3D knit dresses and berets.

Across the range, pieces feature check patterns and small floral accents, alongside earthy colours including moss green, beige, grey and burnt orange.

The new Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange collection will be available in full at the Emporium, Chadstone and Mid City stores and online, with select items available in all other stores.

It launches in Australia on February 17.
