Lingerie label Triumph Australia has revealed the next piece of its total re-brand.

The brand, originally founded in 1886 in Germany, has appointed Nicola Hodgson as its head of brand, effective January 2014.

The move follows a reveal to Ragtrader last month [December 2013 print edition] that the brand is in the midst of a global revitalisation strategy which will see the evolution of Triumph Australia across several different fronts, from logo to store aesthetic.

Commenting on its latest recruit, the company said Hodgson's appointment comes at a pivotal time in Triumph Australia’s evolution.

“As part of the brand’s global strategy, the Australian re-brand will be evidenced across all sales channels and in all product and marketing activity from July 2014.”

Hodgson said she looks forward to coming on board at Triumph as it embarks on its brand rejuvenation.

“I look forward to driving growth and ensuring Triumph continues to be relevant to Australian and New Zealand women through continued delivery of quality, support, style and fashion for every occasion,” she said.

Hodgson brinsg to Triumph a wealth of experience in product and marketing having spent the last 18 months in Australia as head of marketing for Village Roadshow Themeparks.

Prior to that Hodgson was based in the UK and led the brand transformation of Mamas & Papas as international marketing manager. In this role, Hodgson drove international growth of product and brand through driving product sales, store and online footfall, international integration, and global brand awareness.
