Embattled fashion retailer Trims has found a buyer, following its collapse into liquidation in June.
Trims owed $3.2 million to unsecured creditors and $580,000 in wages and staff entitlements at the time.
The Adelaide-based retailer had traded in King William Street since 1937.
It is understood an undisclosed buyer has purchased its intellectual property, including business name and trademark, and will relaunch the business.
The buyer did not purchase existing stock, with the retailer set to start a three day liquidation sale on Friday.
Trims operated three stores at the height of trade.
The liquidation process involved negotiating with 37 different stock suppliers and several interested buyers.
Brands stocked by Trims included RM Williams, Levis, King Gee, Hard Yakka, Blundstone, Minkpink, Industrie, Onitsuka Tiger, Vans, Gazman and Mossimo.
