Experian FootFall National Retail Index- Monthly:
Change for December 2014- Month on Month: +65 per cent.
Change for December 2014- Year-on-Year: +2.6 per cent.
The Experian FootFall National Retail Index is reporting a very pronounced increase of +65 per cent on November when footfall had dipped -2.7 per cent on the previous month.
The Year-on-Year change for December increased +2.6 per cent compared to the previous month when footfall was -1.6 per cent on the year. Overall footfall closed the year +0.9 per cent on 2013.
As analysts await the results of December sales results, where many predicted a Christmas bonanza for retailers, the results show that in store visitation was on the rise.
