British fashion giant Topshop has flagged the next stage of its Australian retail rollout.

The fashion chain, which just recently opened its Sydney flagship store in the historic Gowings Building, is set to launch a local pop-up project, which will run from November 24 to December 9 at the iconic location.

Inspired by the Australian summer season, Topshop Sydney will host a schedule of pop-ups to celebrate Australian business innovators from the industries of beauty, floristry and desserts.

Kicking off the project is a collaboration with Surry Hills hair and beauty salon, People Hairdressing, which specialises in deluxe manicures and pedicures at its ‘Get Nailed’ nail art bar.

Six nail technicians will be in-store at the Topshop Sydney store on November 24 and 25, offering customers (who spend over $85) customised nail art designs, especially created for Topshop.

The following weekend, December 1 and 2, will see Topshop will introduce its customers to The Sisters Florals, a family floristry business originally from Engadine.

Business owners Naomi and Esther Neyenguys have created a unique flower arrangement for the retailer and will be in-store compiling the gifts to be offered for Topshop customers (who spend over $85).

Australian celebrity dessert chef, Adriano Zumbo will wrap up the initiative on the final weekend of the pop-ups project (December 8 and 9), offering customers a selection of two bespoke, limited edition macaroons created exclusively for Topshop in British inspired flavours.

Commenting on the initiative, Topshop Topman Australia marketing manager Jessica Cook said the project would help cement the brand's presence in this new market.

“It's an exciting time for Topshop and Topman in Australia - the response to the new Sydney store has been overwhelmingly positive. Topshop and Topman in Australia is an iconic British brand that has always been uniquely positioned and this is something we intend to continue and build on locally, whilst engaging and entertaining our customers in completely new ways. We're thrilled to work closely with local brands People, The Sisters Florals and Adriano Zumbo for our summer pop ups,” she said.
