Topshop Australia has poached a star recruit from one of its major competitors.
Topshop Australia operator Next Athleisure has appointed Prue Thomas as group marketing manager for Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge Australia and Glue Store.
Thomas has joined the company following her most recent appointment as senior marketing manager of Asos Australia.
Thomas has 18 years experience in fashion retail, communications and brand management.
This includes a five-year stint as fashion marketing manager for UK department store Selfridges and six years at Topshop London.
Thomas relocated to Australia in 2007 to take up the position of strategic brand manager for Sportsgirl.
