British fashion giant Topshop has confirmed the imminent launch of its largest Australian store to date.
The iconic brand, in conjunction with menswear label Topman, will open a three-level, 2200 square-metre store in Brisbane in December 2013.
The new Australian store, located in the old Borders site on the corner of Elizabeth and Albert Streets, will house both Topshop and Topman brands in addition to a personal shopping service.
All collections will be available in-store, including mainline trends, Tall and Petite, make up, footwear, basics, denim and accessories collections, as well as Topshop Unique and Boutique and Topman suiting.
Commenting on the next stage of its Australian retail rollout, Next Athleisure chairman Hilton Seskin said the December store launch represents the continued expansion of the Topshop and Topman empire on local shores.
"We are pleased to announce the fourth Australian Topshop Topman store which will be opening in Brisbane – a city known for its celebration of fashion and culture. Brisbane is not only relevant to the Topshop customer, but also of great importance to the positioning of the Topshop Topman brand within the Australian market. Topshop is sure to introduce a breath of fresh air to the Brisbane retail market and we look forward to sharing in the excitement with our Brisbane customers," he said.
Topshop managing director Mary Homer added that the Brisbane store addition to the Topshop Topman Australian retail network is a testament to the success of both brands locally.
“Following the incredible response to the Topshop Topman brand in both Sydney and Melbourne, we are very excited to bring the store to the city of Brisbane,” she said.
“I feel confident that the Topshop aesthetic will strike a chord with the effortlessly chic Brisbane customer, and its trend-setting and fashion conscious crowds. We look forward to rolling out all of the Topshop collections including Unique and Boutique in-store.”
