Sunshine Plaza shopping centre has welcomed a new addition to its offering, with Tommy Hilfiger opening a new store on May 24.
The store, which is operated by PVH Brands Australia, is the 14th retail location for the brand in Australia and adds to the 2000 global store footprint.
Spanning 230sqm, the store design mirrors the global store concept and features clean, modern finishes and a bright aesthetic. The colours red, white and blue feature throughout the store signal the brand's American heritage, while textures such as high-gloss lacquered wood, polished stainless steel and rustic oak flooring indicates the nautical lifestyle the brand draws inspiration from.
During its opening trading, customers were invited to indulge in coffee and donuts while browsing the collection.
"To celebrate the opening, consumers were invited to browse and shop the collections while enjoying coffee and donuts on May 24th," Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement.
"Throughout the day, customers could express their own twist by embroidering products bought in-store at the TommyXYou customisation station and they received a gift with purchase.
"The store showcases the Spring 2019 collections for men’s and women’s sportswear, footwear, accessories, swim, underwear and Tommy Sport, which re-energises classic Americana styles with a bold and colorful twist, and Tommy Jeans, which celebrates the brand’s rich denim heritage, reviving classic American styles with an irreverent edge."
