Global watchmaker Tissot has been appointed as the official timekeeping partner of Australia’s streetball tournament and basketball culture festival, the Summer Jam 2026.
This comes as other global apparel, footwear and accessories brands ramp up their sponsorship across Australian sport. Most recently, Under Armour signed off a handful of outfitting deals with major clubs, including the NSW Waratahs, the Canberra Raiders, Sydney FC and the Hawthorn Football Club.
Meanwhile, Wilson added Alex de Minaur to a roster of 15 global tennis legends, where each athlete in the group is fitted with a unique on-court kit by the tennis brand.
In this new deal, Tissot will provide official services across Summer Jam 2026. The 2026 Summer Jam Tour, marking its 14th season this year, will fly to Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, searching for Australia's best squads to battle with select international teams in a global streetball championship. The tour will feature celebrity guests, DJs and streetwear activations.
According to Tissot, Basketball remains a core pillar of its sporting strategy, with the brand being the official timekeeper for the NBA, WNBA and FIBA. The watch brand also has Australian basketball icon Lauren Jackson as an ambassador.
In Australia, Tissot sells its products via an online website, through stockists such as Swatch, David Jones and Mazzucchelli's, as well as five Tissot-managed retail spaces.
