Time is running out for young retailers to make their mark.
Nominations for the National Retail Association (NRA) 2014 Young Retailer of the Year Award will close this week on Friday, July 4.
The annual competition aims to recognise and reward excellence in leadership, innovation, and industry knowledge in young retailers in the Australian retail sector.
The NRA 2014 Young Retailer of the Year Award is open to all retailers under the age of 25, and those eligible can be nominated by colleagues, supervisors, family members, or themselves.
The winner will be announced at the gala dinner and awards ceremony on Friday September 26, in Sydney, and awarded a place on the 2015 Westfield World Retail Study Tour.
Award finalists will be announced on Monday August 4, and will also receive a ticket to the gala dinner and awards ceremony, featuring General Pants Group CEO, Craig King, as keynote speaker.
Every young retailer entrant will receive a ticket to attend the event’s Future of Retail Forum on Friday September 26.
The award has been running for 41 years and is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the Australian retail industry.
