Australian fashion journalist Kate Waterhouse and South Korean star Soo Young Choi have taken part in a three-day immersive marketing activation.

The pair joined delegates from across the world in a 'farm to fashion' activation hosted by Helen Kaminski and supported by The Woolmark Company Japan.

Local influencers Eleanor Pendleton, Beck Wadworth and Lee Oliviera also took part, along with USA creatives Madelynn Furlong, Lisa Dengler and Karl-Edwin Guerre.

Stylist Yumie Kazama, model Kana Oya and Beams menswear buyer Shuhei Nishiguchi rounded up the Japan contingent.

Staged at sustainable hotel Jackalope in Mornington Peninsula, guests were treated to a private dinner before taking in a day at merino wool farm Barunah Plains.

There, they learned about sheep shearing and witnessed the process of crafting ultra fine wool felt hats.

Helen Kaminski's master craftsperson Garry Bishop demonstrated the skills used by artisan hatmakers to block and steam the hats into shape and craft the final product.

The pure merino wool and ultra fine wool felt hats have been available in stores and online at Helen Kaminski from mid-August.
