Haven Licensing has teamed up with Bavaria Sonor Licensing to bring the official emoji lifestyle brand into Australia and New Zealand.
Haven Licensing has plans to launch physical and tangible consumer products across all non-digital categories in Q4 2015.
MD Tom Punch said the usage of emoji icons in digital communication is an integrated part of customers’ lives.
"There are a number of imitators out in the market, but fans will recognise and want the genuine article, and we’re thrilled to be able to give it to them.
"We all use Emoji Icons daily in the Haven office, and look forward to having a lot of fun with this lifestyle brand that guarantees customer recognition and a strong value perception."
Founder of the emoji company Marco Hüsges believes the concept has universal licensing appeal.
"Themed from digital to physical, we are bringing our brand concept and unique content into the Australian and New Zealand markets.
"Haven’s stellar reputation and strong portfolio of brands has given us the confidence that they can successfully bring our brand concept to those markets. We’re looking forward to a great partnership."
