Australia's first adaptive clothing retailer EveryHuman has launched its first autumn/winter collection.
The business, which caters for the one in five Australians with a disability, offers fashion-forward items equipped with subtle adjustments.
The new collection consists of jeans, pants, long t-shirts, boots and jackets which feature adjustments such as magnetic closures, one-hand zippers for shoes and elastic-wasted trousers created for the seated position.
EveryHuman is also set to launch its first Australian-based and manufactured brand next week.
EveryHuman founder Matthew Skerritt said that the new Australian made range is perfect for women looking for basic wardrobe pieces.
"The women's only range offers an inclusive range of t-shirts, pants and dresses, designed for people with limited mobility and dexterity.
"They are the perfect 'basics' staple piece with functionality at the forefront of design.
"We have also extended our range of Billy Footwear shoes (best sellers), and are now selling their range of Cozy Boots.
"We have some great pieces as part of our autumn/winter range.
"One of our staple brands we launched with, IZ Adaptive, already had quite a focus on winter essentials - jeans, jackets and parkas, however we will continue to build on that over the coming months," he said.
Skerritt added that while COVID-19 has caused disruption, the business has adapted to the current climate.
"Having launched in December 2019, we were starting to gain some solid traction with sales and a growing customer base.
"With consumer confidence down and people not leaving the house as much, the tendency to purchase clothing is not at the same levels as before.
"EveryHuman is still shipping as usual, ensuring our courier companies are implementing touch-less deliveries.
"Further to this, we have realigned our social impact initiative, so that proceeds raised go towards funding COVID-19 efforts by our charity partners," he said.
