The world's largest suit manufacturer Dayang Group has invested $3 million in InStitchu.

Institchu is an Australian custom-made suiting brand.

Under the strategic investment, Dayang Group will become the startup's production partner.

It will also fund the global rollout of 15 showrooms, as well as ramp up Institchu's online and in-store experience.

Last year, Institchu unveiled its first US store in New York City.

Institchu co-founder James Wakefield said the investment is a major win for the brand.

“The Dayang team shares our vision that the future of menswear is made-to-measure and in the belief that a meticulously crafted suit should be affordable,” Wakefield said.

Last year, the company recorded 114% year-on-year growth.
