Australian menswear retailer The Academy Brand has announced the launch of its own stand alone website for its junior label, Rookie by The Academy Brand.
Founder and director Anthony Pitt said the decision to launch the site was due to the continued success of the brand over the last two years.
Following the exclusive launch into David Jones and the brand's performance online and in bricks and mortar stores, Pitt said it was the perfect time for Rookie to have its own standalone online store and shopping destination.
The site will feature a wider selection of product and will feature the complete look book.
The Rookie by The Academy Brand website design and user experience will be familiar to existing customers with the design and functionality similar to that of their Academy Brand website.
The launch of the Rookie website follows the continued expansion by the brand, which recently launched two stores in Melbourne.
