Super Retail Group's sports division has seen an 8.5% rise in sales to $490.5 million for the half year.
Earnings before interest and tax grew 19.5% to $50.9 million for the 17 weeks to April 29.
Like-for-like sales growth continued to be strong in the Rebel and Amart Sports businesses, reaching 6% for the last three comparative periods.
The growth is driven by increases in both transaction and average transaction value growth.
While each category generated solid growth, apparel was the standout performer.
Digital sales increased by 73% over the prior comparative period.
There are 101 Rebel and 64 Amart Sports stores at period end.
