Australian menswear retailer M.J. Bale has launched an exclusive collection of suits created from Merino wool taken from the eco-friendly Kingston Farm in Tasmania.

The 'Kingston Collection' is the result of a three-year on-farm collaboration between M.J. Bale and Kingston Farm, a 112-year-old family-owned Merino wool farm.

A conservationist enterprise, Kingston Farm is known for its ethical and sustainable on-farm strategies which have been developed to create an eco-friendly Merino fibre.

The farm has developed its flock for over more than a century, creating enhanced durability and breathability within the wool.

M.J. Bale founder and CEO Matt Jensen said the decision to partner with the Cameron family was simply based around the quality of the wool and the farming technique by which it is produced.

“The reason we work with Kingston is simple. The wool produced here in Tasmania is the best in the world. We believe in the Cameron family and the way that they farm.

"It shows in the quality and fineness and beauty of the Merino wool they produce.”

The Kingston collection includes four styled Super 120s and Super 150s superfine Merino wool suits in tones of charcoal, grey, blue and navy.

A percentage from every Kingston suit sale is returned to the Kingston Farm to help conserve Kingston’s biodiversity.

This support will help the Cameron family maintain the habitat of over 12 endangered and threatened native Australian flora and fauna species.
