18 brands. 2 weeks. 1 powerful message

Following a successful inaugural showcase in May, The Sustainable Wardrobe is returning to Sydney for a two-week luxury pop-up this August.

The initiative’s August showcase will bring together 18  brands and reside in the retail shop and studio of ceramicist Naomi Taplin’s Studio Enti in Darlinghurst.

Founded by stylist Aleysha Campbell, The Sustainable Wardrobe provides a platform for Australian ethical and sustainablefashion brands to connect with likeminded consumers.

Studio Enti is part of a community of five neighbouring shopfronts that celebrate the works of local independent designers and creative businesses within the Oxford Street and Foley Street Creative Spaces Program.

“My hope is for The Sustainable Wardrobe to evolve into a platform that encourages community within the fashion industry and fosters local pride and solutions within the ethical space,” Campbell said.

“By engaging consumers with brand stories and philosophies, together with other likeminded ethical brands, we aim to reshape consumer behaviour and enable them to make informed decisions in their purchasing.”

Participating labels include Outland Denim, Lois Hazel, Daniella Caputi, Celery The Label, A.BCH and Akazi.
