Ragtrader Online has discovered the launch site of an international e-commerce giant attempting to make waves in the domestic fashion market.
Rocket Internet GmbH has not returned repeated queries by www.ragtrader.com.au, after industry sources revealed the company was developing a dedicated venture for the Australian market last month.
Rocket Internet invests capital and advice into the development of innovative online companies, with projects including Groupon, eDarling, TopTarif and Zalando.
Ragtrader Online has tracked down the company's latest venture, as it prepares to launch at an undisclosed date.
Dubbed theiconic.com, the website stocks a range of men's and women's fashion with brands including Superfine, Ladakh, Zanerobe, Minty Meets Munt and Peep Toe.
The website offers free shipping nationwide and 30 day returns, with additional brands set to be secured in coming weeks. The company has registered its local arm under Internet Services Australia 1.
