Online platform The Iconic has collaborated with Australian activewear brand P.E Nation to launch its first-ever athleisure capsule ‘Phys Ed’.

The collection features 14 different styles in sizes from XXS to XXXL, including sweat tops, crewnecks, hoodies and half zips, track pants, sweat shorts, boyfriend t-shirts, and a singlet. It also includes a tote bag, cap and socks.

“At The Iconic, we’re creating a better way for people to shop, and part of this promise is ensuring that we are the go-to destination for activewear and wellness,” The Iconic GM of sport, beauty and home Josh Nunan said.

“P.E. Nation is one of The Iconic's strongest partners and together we embarked on a project to introduce accessible and trend-focussed athleisure options to the market that would help us fulfil this vision. 

“Collaborating closely, we crafted a capsule collection that was an accessible price point, had a strong aesthetic and colour palette, and incorporated the tagline ‘Physical Education’ to be the motif across the latest collection as a nod to the brand's roots.”

Nunan said the aim was to drive high conversion and virality, particularly with the accessible price points.

“Timing was also key; with our launch slated for April, a peak trade period, we worked quickly to perfect the designs, put them into production and work on a launch timeline,” Nunan said. 

“We knew that creating an exclusive capsule with a leading athleisure brand like P.E Nation would be a big moment for our customers, and also bring our key strategic pillars of differentiation, accessibility and fashionable athleisure would help us deliver this promise. 

“We’re incredibly proud of this partnership with P.E. Nation and hope to collaborate again in the near future.”

The Phys Ed range will be sold on The Iconic as well as in P.E Nation's Sydney store and online.
