After more than a decade as Textile Recyclers Australia, the company has rebranded to Textile Recyclers Group (TRG).
According to a release from the business, the name change reflects its expanding global reach and growing network of partners.
“Transparency, honesty, and integrity remain our core values,” TRG co-founders Ben Kaminsky and Maureen Taylor shared in a joint statement.
“With momentum building, we are scaling our operations, advancing proprietary innovations, and unlocking new market opportunities to deliver measurable environmental and commercial impact.”
TRG’s core goal is to give textiles – including apparel, domestic, industrial and other fabrics – a second life and drive circularity across the industry. The business has helped divert over one million kilograms of textiles from landfill and serves more than 200 clients across industries.
The business operates facilities in Sydney and Melbourne, and has partnerships with local and international retailers and other businesses, including Country Road, Politix, Seed and Uniqlo.
