Australian singer and actress Jessica Mauboy will be the face of a twelve month campaign to transform Target womenswear.
Target Australia MD Stuart Machin said the appointment heralds a bold new fashion direction for the brand.
“Target womenswear has undergone a style transformation, making fashion more accessible and affordable for all Australian women. Jessica is down to earth, and a much loved Aussie icon, which is why she’s the perfect fit for Target,” Machin said.
Mauboy's ambassadorial role with Target will include photo-shoots, media and event appearances with the brand over the next 12 months.
“We believe Jessica’s fashion and style confidence will help demonstrate Target is a great value fashion destination for all Australian women,” Machin said.
Target Australia has pioneered a number of recent fashion coups, including collaborative ventures with designer brands Dion Lee and Missoni.
