Target is set to roll out its latest 'next generation' store in Queensland's Orion Springfield Central.
Target Springfield will aim to offer a revised approach to its in-store experience by including a parents' room, in-store café, digital photo kiosk, in-store alteration service, t-shirt printing station, kids play zone, click-and-collect shopping service and a 'Happy Lab' confectionary area.
Target Australia Queensland state general manager Tim Kemp said that the company is thrilled to launch the next phase of its retail strategy.
“We’re delighted to be opening the doors to our Target Springfield, and to be sharing our new additions with local shoppers.
“From an in-store café, t-shirt printing through to a kids play zone, we know that local shoppers will be delighted with the new features available.
“At Target, we’re constantly looking for new ways to surprise and delight our shoppers – and to make the experience enjoyable for the entire family.
“The next generation stores will transform the entire Target business – bringing the best of fashion including our swimwear and summer products, beauty, entertainment and home-wears under the one roof.”
It comes straight off the back of the opening of its Eastland at the end of October.
Target Springfield will open tomorrow at 9am with the first 100 customers in store to receive a $10 gift voucher and free incentives such as complimentary coffee and kids' face painting.
Springfield Central currently hosts around 100 retail and speciality stores.
