Target has released new messaging aimed squarely at the fashion dollar.

Target Australia has unveiled a new advertising tagline 'Higher Quality. Lower Prices' this week.

The messaging is at the core of its bid to become an affordable fashion destination for all members of the family.

The discount department store has introduced a number of new initiatives to improve quality.

This includes better materials, improvements in finishing and construction, better sizing options and higher safety and fabric durability across ranges.

The campaign features real Australians as well as high profile ambassadors including Jessica Mauboy.

The first iteration of the ‘Higher Quality. Lower Prices’ advertising includes TVCs, OOH billboards in market, as well as digital marketing and public relations support being planned.
