Sydney Airport has today launched the first Australian airport gift card.
The card can be used across a variety of Sydney Airport's retail stores, which include over 800 brands. The card can also be used at Heinemann Tax & Duty Free.
Aimed toward frequent flyers and travellers, the card can also be used to access the airports numerous food and dining services.
Sydney Airport general manager retail Glyn Williams said the launch is in time for the busy holiday period.
“This new gifting initiative caters to the needs of the modern traveller by offering them a new and convenient way to shop and dine at the airport before they fly.”
Prices range from $20 to $250 and can be purchased securely online, with the buyer able to attach a personalised note for the intended traveller. A variety of different delivery options are also available.
