Curated fashion gallery Subtype will return to Sydney on Saturday with a new store at 350 George St.

The first store was born in a narrow alleyway in the heart of the Sydney CBD in 2014.

Wanting to showcase sneakers and garments in an elevated way, Subtype  took an artistic approach rendering a small store with LED lights, mirrored display boxes and exposed concrete walls.

To develop the physical aesthetic further, Subtype collaborated with Melbourne-based design studio NOISE NOISE NOISE to bring its Melbourne, Auckland and now Sydney stores to life.

Melbourne resides in a basement location in the heart of the city, Auckland can be found in the  streets of Newmarket and now Sydney will find its home on George St just a stone’s throw from its old residence.

Built within the construct of the second oldest heritage building in Sydney, it will feature a range of designer brands.

This includes ADER Error, Drôle De Monsieur, Common Projects, Fear of God, Ksubi, Sneaker Lab, Vans, Dr. Martens and Carhartt WIP.

The YEEZY QNTM “Teal Blue” and  Nike Air Max III “Infrared” will release over the weekend with more drops from YEEZY, adidas, New Balance and more over the course of the first few weeks.
