Australian footwear e-tailer Stylerunner has managed to bag Italian sneaker brand Superga to join its stable of brands.
Currently stocked in Tuchuzy, The Iconic and Glue Store, the announcement marks further expansion for Superga in the Australian market.
Following the acquisition, Stylerunner will launch the brand online with the Superga Cotu Classic in white, navy and leopard colourways.
Stylerunner senior buyer Pembe Bekirn said that the addition of the brand to its portfolio is all part of the company's strategy to offer a carefully curated range of footwear to domestic consumers.
“Stylerunner is renowned for its considered curation of the world's most iconic fashion and activewear brands so we're thrilled to welcome Superga to our growing portfolio.
“Fashionable, wearable and covetable, the minimalist and iconic designs are the perfect fit for our brand and our stylish customers.”
Superga group marketing manager of trend imports Emily Ventura said that the company has approached Australia with a selective approach.
“We have been really selective about how and where we launch Superga within the Australian market, and have had Stylerunner in our sights for a number of reasons.
“For us, it's not just about achieving 'x' amount of sales and we love that Stylerunner get that.
“It is more about building an ongoing partnership and utilising Stylerunner's marketing power and uber dedicated customer base to grow the brand.”
Superga has now launched on Stylerunner, with prices ranging from $89.95-$99.95.
