Bag brand Strand has secured a collaboration deal with Australian soccer star Cortnee Vine in its latest marketing campaign ‘By Her Side’.

The campaign is expected to evolve ahead until Mother’s Day on May 12, featuring a range of women mentors, muses and mothers.

The latest iteration of the campaign will feature Vine alongside Australian models, Nadine Bush, Emma Kate Boyd, Sam Harris and Helena Vestergaard.

"A bag isn't going to change the world, but the woman carrying it can,” Strand CEO Felicity McGahan said. “Behind the person carrying the bag lies a common bond- often unsung heroes embodying resilience, momentum and determination. 

“Strand wants to stand 'By Her Side', celebrating remarkable women everywhere throughout all of her life journeys and adventures."

Vine shared her enthusiasm for the collaboration and campaign.

“Strand is a right of passage when you first start travelling," she said. "I was thrilled to be asked to appear in their campaign alongside some other amazing women. 

“I'm travelling so much with our national team right now, and you often take great luggage for granted.”

The new campaign comes 16 months after Strand changed its name from Strandbags after 95 years in business. It also follows the launch and rollout of its two new brands Nere and AYA.
