Luggage retailer Antler, a business associated with Australian bag business Strand, has just appointed Kirsty Glenne as the CEO of its house of brands.
In her new role, Glenne will lead the group’s next phase of growth as Antler evolves into a multibrand portfolio. This includes the addition of Australian travel brand Nere, which is currently scaling in the United Kingdom and other markets, as well as Antler’s newly acquired US luxury travel brand Paravel.
Glenne has served as managing director of Antler for the past four years. During this time, she has reportedly driven sustained revenue growth and strengthened global distribution across wholesale, ecommerce and marketplaces.
Under her leadership, Antler has experienced three consecutive years of double-digit growth with global revenue increasing from £5 million to £45 million – or from around A$9.4 million to A$84.6 million. The business has also expanded its international footprint including the opening of its first bricks-and-mortar store in Sydney and a flagship in New York.
As CEO, Glenne will oversee the development of Antler House of Brands while accelerating the international growth of Nere and supporting the relaunch of Paravel in the US luxury travel market later this year.
“It’s a privilege to lead Antler House of Brands at such an exciting moment for the business,” Glenne said.
“Antler has a built a strong foundation as a travel lifestyle brand over the last three years, I’m excited at the opportunity to grow our portfolio with Paravel and Nere, building three distinctive travel brands that resonate with the global travel community.”
