An enchanted garden theme will lead the spring/summer season at Sydney's Strand Arcade.
The historic shopping location has partnered with PDC Creative to create a seasonal campaign framed around racing, eveningwear, daywear, workwear and resort.
The print creative features designs by Strand Arcade tenants Alex Perry, Ms Couture, Jayson Brunsdon, Akira, Anaessia and Terry Biviano.
PDC Creative director Caroline Poiner said the theme continued the story of past campaigns.
“The concept for spring/summer was inspired by the idea of a Victorian fairytale garden, bringing back the dreamlike notion of princesses, magic and fantasy in the world of designer fashion.
“There is always a bit of a Victorian twist, but this time with a kaleidoscope of butterflies, a borzoi dog and a freshly caught ocean trout to set the scene. It’s subtle yet still a defining characteristic that I like to incorporate into the campaign shoot.”
Featured collections encompass feminine silhouettes with a touch of 1950’s glamour; bold colours and luxurious lace fabrics with detailing and cut outs, offset by statement shoes.
