Global sportswear brand On has opened its second store in Australia at Westfield Bondi, which also marks the first retail location in New South Wales.
The new store adds to On's Melbourne Emporium space in Victoria.
Located on Level 3 of Westfield Bondi, the 493-square-metre store will stock a full assortment of On footwear, apparel and accessories for running, training, tennis, outdoor and all-day lifestyle activities.
Select products from partner collaborations, including Post Archive Faction (PAF), Sky High Farm Goods, and Erewhon, will also be available in limited drops.
The store design takes inspiration from Bondi’s coastal running routes.
Organic seating forms are drawn from the rock formations and Hawkesbury Sandstone, while aluminium surfaces contrast with textured, matte finishes. The space features locally sourced floor tiles, textured concrete walls and moulded panels, alongside a gradient-painted wall created by Pretty in Paint Australia.
“Bondi is a place where movement and the outdoors are naturally a part of everyday life,” On’s commercial director for Oceania, Lauren Portelli, said. “We wake up at sunrise for our iconic coastal life, from runs and walks to the amazing community that surrounds us.
“It’s a place that feels deeply connected to what On stands for. We’re excited to put some Swiss roots down in Bondi and create a space that reflects the charm of Bondi and shares latest performance innovations to the local Sydney community.”
The Sydney store is the newest addition to On’s expanding global retail portfolio, bringing its retail footprint to more than 70 stores worldwide.
