Skechers is next in line to unleash a loyalty program under parent company Accent Group.

The footwear retailer is scheduled to launch a new program early this year, as Accent Group prioritises its focus on customer data and insights.

Additional brands will roll out new programs over the coming 12 to 18 months.

Accent Group currently has seven million customers across its database, with a target of 10 million in the medium term.

The Athlete’s Foot MyFit Rewards program in particular continues to deliver strong retention rates and loyalty, Accent Group chief Daniel Agostinelli confirmed.

“Having a robust customer database gives us the ability to tactically drive sales outcomes at short notice when required with virtually no marketing expense.”

The move comes as Accent Group targets digital sales to be at least 30% of total sales, with investment across CRM, loyalty programs and delivery capabilities.
