Australian label SIR. has opened its sixth Australian store at The Strand in Sydney, marking its third store in the city, too.

The new concept store will house the brand’s popular styles, curated by co-founders Nikki Campbell and Sophie Coote.

The store was designed by Pete Kennon of Studio Kennon, who followed the brand’s base points to create the space.

Runway-style lighting overhead helps connect two rooms inside the store, anchored by a sienna glass block island, with ribbed glazed mosaics across surfaces and fur-lined walls behind wavy red acrylic.

The Strand in Sydney is home to a raft of designer labels and retailers, including Aje, Bassike, Jac+Jack, Manning Cartell, P.Johnson, Rebecca Vallance and Scanlan Theodore.

The new SIR. store in the CBD adds to another store in Bondi and another in Paddington, with the brand also operating stores in Brisbane CBD, Melbourne CBD and Perth CBD.

As well as stores, the brand also sells through select stockists, including David Jones, The New Trend and a small selection of solo boutiques.
