Australian designer boutique Showroom-X has partnered with The Petrichor Gallery in Berlin to support Ukranian artists.
Launched on September 8, the International Artist in Residence Series will be an online art exhibition featuring 11 Ukrainian artists who have been impacted by the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Showroom-X and the Petrichor Gallery will forward all profits from the sales of each artwork directly to the artist.
“When I spoke with a Ukrainian friend a couple of months ago, hearing first hand the desperation and quite frankly heartbreaking situation on the ground, we knew we had to try and support in any way we could," Showroom-X CEO Richard Poulson said.
"Showroom-X and the Petrichor Gallery are not taking commissions from the sales of these works - all profits are going directly to the artist. By supporting the artists, we are supporting their families and their communities.”
All artworks are available to purchase exclusively via Showroom-X.
Participating artists include Milena Piletska, Aleksey Shcherbak, Lucy Evans, Polina Kuznetsova, Maxim Veteris, Denis Metelin and Valeriia Vertii.
