Showpo’s design and product development team is on a mission to lift the quality of its garments, head of product development and design Laura Hunt has told Ragtrader.
With the whole business working towards six objective and key result directives (OKR), Hunt said her team’s goals are to improve the fitting processes, fabrications and quality finishings.
Part of this process is to increase the brand’s use of sustainable/natural fibres such as linen and cotton mixes and reduce the reliance on manmade fibres.
"Our customers' happiness is at the centre of everything we do, and we want to ensure that every time our customers shop at Showpo they have a positive experience and walk away with a product they truly love that they can wear time and time again," she said.
Showpo was founded by Jane Lu in 2010 and has since grown its footprint, selling into 100 countries and turning over $85 million per year.
