Showpo has ventured into the sustainable fashion space with the launch of its latest collection Amalie.

This year, Dissh and VRG GRL both announced changes to ranging and production cycles in a bid to be more sustainable.

Showpo CEO Jane Lu said Amalie is ethically made using natural fibres and fabrics such as linen and tencel.

"The fashion industry’s negative impact on the environment is becoming more prominent with consumers demanding more sustainable and eco-conscious options," she said.

"We want to demonstrate our awareness of this crucial issue by evolving our fashion to showcase how seriously we take this issue."

The collection launches today and includes Showpo's signature dresses, tops and two-piece sets across 31 pieces and in sizes 4 to 20.

The range is priced from $69.95 to $139.95 and available exclusively online.

Showpo has now committed to an aim of having over 50% of its range made with natural and preferred fibres by 2025.

The brand has also converted to using recycled materials for packaging, swing tags and garment tags as well as ransitioning to an in-house-design led business model.
