Local fashion e-tail businesses have received another boost of publicity, this time from an e-tail devoted edition of consumer magazine Shop Til You Drop.

The ACP publication's May 2011 edition features 800 products within its pages, with each and every item available to purchase online. ACP said it is the first time an Australian magazine has ensured all goods featured on its pages are able to be sourced online.

Shop Til You Drop Editor Justine Cullen said she had endeavoured to feature largely Australian e-tail businesses in the special edition.

“...While producing this issue my team and I were constantly surprised and thrilled by the number of brilliant local websites that provide a great range of products, with prices and customer service that make them truly competitive with their international counterparts,” Cullen said.

She added the reason she had devoted the May edition to e-tail was the "mass acceptance" of online shopping by Australian consumers over the past 12 months.

“For many of our readers, e-commerce stores are as much a part of the shopping landscape as their favourite bricks and mortar destinations, so we thought there'd never be a better time to launch an entire issue full of all the best fashion and beauty buys that our readers can purchase without ever having to leave their living rooms.”

Regional readers, mothers of small children and time poor women would especially benefit from the special edition, ACP said.

The May issues of Shop Til You Drop is on sale from April 11.
