Melbourne Central is set to host an activation in support of a charity targeting homelessness.
'Sleepless at Central' aims to educate participants on a daily reality for 105,000 people nationally.
The event will be hosted at Melbourne Central, in conjunction with social enterprise Streat, on September 25.
This year’s theme is ‘Dreams’ and the night will feature local and Streat musicians playing special sets.
It will also feature art and a stories workshop – A Pillowcase of Dreams – with Matthew Butler, founder of the Zaishu organisation.
Streat chefs will sustain everyone with soup and sourdough, with breakfast served at 6am.
The campaign aims to raise critical funds for Streat's youth programs as well as raise awareness and start conversations around solutions to homelessness.
