Brands such as Seafolly, P.E Nation and SIR have helped raise $2 million through i=Change.
The technology solution allows retailers to give a portion of sales to charities, selected by customers.
100% of funds raised have been delivered to impact up to 530,665 people, provide $299,860 worth of supplies to bushfire affected communities, store up to 536 tonnes of carbon and remove 611 tonnes of sediment from the Great Barrier Reef.
With i=Change focused on women and girls’ empowerment, the money has also helped up to 32,057 girls stay in school in Rwanda and Uganda, protect up to 4937 women from sex trafficking in Cambodia, India and Bangladesh, and help ensure up to 532 women in PNG give birth safely.
Seafolly chief digital officer Caroline Swarbrick said more brands should onboard.
“$2 million dollars; this platform is life-changing! Seafolly is committed to women’s empowerment, community and choice. I’m proud that together with our customers, we can contribute to these extraordinary development projects. We hope more brands will join us, and turn $2 million into much more."
