A new creative direction wasn't the only surprise for Sass & Bide at London Fashion Week.
The designer brand unveiled a fresh look under new creative director Anthony Cuthbertson in a show staged on February 20.
Sass & Bide also debuted a collaboration with iconic Australian brand RM Williams.
The two labels custom-created a pair of boots based on an original 1940s riding style in three colourways.
Two leathers were used, including Kangaroo and Yearling in black and white tones.
Cubertson paid tribute to Sass & Bide's signature look, with textured detailing and rich embellishments for his AW15 range.
This was offset with Japanese outerwear, kimono prints and layered, tailored silhouettes.
The show was staged within the grand ballroom of Australia House, home of the Australian High Commission in London.
Last year, Sass & bide designers Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton left the brand they founded.
In 2011, Myer purchased a 65 per cent stake in the business for $42.5 million before acquiring the remaining stake in October last year.
