Australian fashion brand sass & bide has seen an increase of 23% in organic web traffic following a complete redesign of its online facilities.

As a result the brand has been awarded the Magento's Excellence Award for Best Web Design.

Working in tandem with e-commerce specialists, the brand acknowledged that the site needed to be improved to better suit the digital experience of customers.

Customer feedback via phone and surveys confirmed the need for improved online facilities, as well as a more intuitive mobile site and further brand related content.

The mobile site was developed to include a 'shop the look' feature and showcased behind-the-scenes campaigns.

Over the course of four months the site has seen significant improvements, with the site now able to handle over 10 times the amount of traffic compared to the previous site.

Sass & bide eCommerce manager Elosie Nisbett said the decision to redevelop the brands online facilities was to create an experience that reflected the quality of the its product.

“We wanted to offer an online experience to our customers reflecting the quality we put into crafting each of our pieces.

“With this award, I believe we reached our objective.”
