It has 6.2 million loyalty members representing over 80 per cent of sales - how did the largest specialty womenswear retailer in Australia manage such a feat?

Specialty Fashion Group (SFG) CFO Alison Henriksen will share the company's extraordinary customer loyalty program at Ragtrader Live on August 6.

The group sells a garment every second in Australia, New Zealand or the United States through its portfolio of 900 stores and seven online businesses.

SFG CEO Gary Perlstein revealed the importance of customer loyalty at the company's spring/summer showings for Katies, crossroads, City Chic and Autograph.

“Katies is one of our iconic brands and now has 155 stores nationally and it has 1.6 million shoppers on its database," he said.

He revealed crossroads had 1.6 million customers while Autograph had 790,000 members. Even relative newcomer City Chic has 180,000 members on its database.

Earlier this week, the company took out Australian Multichannel Retailer of the Year at the ARA Australian Retail Awards. The award was presented by eBay Inc.
