Rodd & Gunn has announced its first ever global campaign with Waste Not, Want Not (WNWN).

The partnership will see Rodd & Gunn roll out a range of one-of-a-kind garments made from leftover fabrics.

Using a waste minimisation through design methodology, Rodd & Gunn will create the unique garments through a randomised manufacturing process which combines leftover fabrics with new production runs.

Leftover Rodd & Gunn fabrics - including French rib, brushed fleece, double pique and single jersey - are cut into smaller interlocking panels to minimise the waste at the end of production and are combined to create the one-off pieces.

Rodd & Gunn creative director John Prikryl said that the manufacturing process is so randomised, that customers need to be ready to purchase a garment without knowing exactly what they'll get.

"Rodd & Gunn and WNWN have partnered to create a Project Range using Rodd & Gunn’s most recognisable fabrics, focused on crafting totally individual garments that minimise the fabric waste created in manufacturing.

"Every single garment is totally unique and no two are the same. Literally one-of-a-kind.

"Due to the random nature of the garments, you need to be up to the challenge when ordering online as you won’t know what you’re receiving, except to say that it will be as individual as you are," he said.

The genderless range will target consumers aged 18-30 and will launch on Tuesday February 09.
