British High Street giant River Island has confirmed its next phase of expansion in Australia.
The retailer, which operates a global portfolio of over 300 stores worldwide, will officially launch international shipping to Australia through its site au.riverisland.com this week, following whispers of its imminent entry into the market.
River Island will mark the official launch of the online store with a limited free shipping offer from June 5 to June 9, which will see Australian shoppers granted access to the entire River Island range.
The product selection will include River Island's latest capsule collaboration with pop star Rihanna, and the newly launched Pacha Ibiza Beachwear range, as well as exclusive products designed specifically for the Australian market.
The tailored offer for the Australian customer will be available in addition to concurrent product for the Northern Hemisphere, with the brand to also launch new products weekly and offer localised content to “fulfill the appetite of the savvy Australian shopper”.
River Island’s general product categories, including the complete womenswear, menswear and kidswear collections, will also be available for purchase at the new Australian online store.
