Luxury Retail Group, headed by the co-founders of Rhodes & Beckett, has launched a new venture into the market.
Premium accessories brand Folli Follie has opened its first site at Sydney's Queen Victoria Building.
A second location is slated to open in 2015, with both sites offering watches, jewellery and bags.
Luxury Retail Group also operates Sneakerboy and Furla in Australia.
The Group is headed by Mair, also formerly COO Country Road Group, and Theo Poulakis, also co-founder of Harrolds.
The launch of Folli Follie will be supported through a dedicated Australian e-commerce platform.
Folli Follie currently holds 488 points of sale across 24 countries throughout Asia, Europe, US and the Middle East.
This includes department stores such as Harrods in London, Isetan and Takashima in Japan and Corte Ingles in Spain.
