Fashion Exposed Revived appears to have lived up to its name.
The Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) has announced that the trade fair's visitation almost doubled from last year.
Over 14,000 retail buyers are reported to have attended the event which merged 3 fairs at Sydney's Olympic Park over 5 days, hosting around 500 brands and thousands of exhibitors.
These included Fashion Exposed Revived, Home & Giving Fair and Design Life Sydney.
Additional marketing, runway shows, free parking and complimentary public transport seem to be some of the key strategies to the event's success, which saw slumps in numbers in previous years.
It was the first Fashion Exposed since the AGHA took acquisition of the trade show in August 2014.
AGHA CEO Omer Soker believes that investing time and money into reinvigorating the show has paid off.
“We're delighted with the strong first event, but still looking to further improve, and better integrate it into Home & Giving fair to drive even more cross-sector buying.”
Fashion Exposed Revived will run alongside Home & Giving fair again in Melbourne this August.
