Retail Show Australia will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 22 to 24, 2026, expanding its exhibition zones and product categories in its second year.
The event will bring together retailers, brands, suppliers and technology providers from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific, with exhibitors spanning smart retail technologies, e-commerce solutions, shopfitting and store design, digital payments, AI-driven retail intelligence and consumer experience technologies.
Rather than a traditional booth layout, the show builds interactive retail scenarios designed to demonstrate how emerging technology integrates into the customer journey. These experiential showcases will expand in 2026, covering connected store systems, robotics and automation, interactive digital displays, predictive analytics and next-generation POS.
The stage programme will cover consumer expectations, AI and data-powered retail intelligence, sustainability and circular retail models, omnichannel transformation, workforce development and supply chain modernisation.
Interactive zones on the show floor include an AI-Powered Zone with hands-on demonstrations, a walk-through Future Store Interactive Zone, a Fitness & Sports Area featuring more than 200 brands and a High-Level Summit Forum for retail decision-makers.
New networking programmes for 2026 include a structured 1v1 buyer-supplier matchmaking system and The Retail Leaders Summit, an executive-level gathering focused on strategic insight and high-level dialogue.
