A fashion retail powerhouse, comprising brands such as Sass & Bide, Oroton, Charlie Brown and Simone Perele, is set for a rebirth.
Melbourne outlet centre, Brand Smart, has confirmed it is re-launching its shopping offer via a new complex, a design revamp and a fresh retail mix.
The renewed offering will host more than 65 traders, across lifestyle, fashion and food.
The new Brand Smart complex, three years in the making, is located 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and will officially open doors in April 2013.
Designed by Cox Architecture, the multimillion-dollar redevelopment will also see the centre expand to a total of approximately 10,000 square metres, with over 20 new retail stores locked in for leases so far.
Current local and international brands in the retail mix include Sass & Bide and Oroton, as well as Charlie Brown, Bazler, Simone Perele, David Lawrence and Priceline, Laura Ashley, Royal Doulton, Villeroy & Boch, Crabtree & Evelyn and Adairs.
The front of the building will also comprise an integrated dining experience housing five new restaurants, open daily until late, including Pappa Rich and Squires Loft, to attract customers to the centre surrounds.
Commenting on the re-launch, Brand Smart spokesperson Michael Kahane said the final product is the culmination of extensive research and a development process aimed at improving an “already successful model”.
“Brand Smart will continue to bring exceptional discount offers across fashion and home wares with our expanded retail offering and we are thrilled to welcome dining to the impressive line up.
"The new Brand Smart is set to become the essential location to meet regularly with friends and shop in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment,” he said.
To mark the official opening of the new look Brand Smart, the centre will also host a major consumer event, including interactive events, music and various 'family friendly' activities.
